joseph This is a seriously good album A very convincing walk down the psychedelic's road, with some paths dividing and joining back up. I do not have a chosen favorite at this time, and in a certain state of mind, it may be just too difficult to have one anyways... A great find.

On "Hazy Visions of Bliss", the new instrumental album from solo musician Dead Luke (former member of Non Travellin' Band, Pink Reason, Zola Jesus, etc.), the artist takes the listener on a long strange trip across nine blazed and blissed out movements. Straddling a number of genres from pulsating krautrock grooves, to soft new age meditations, to scorching fuzzed out doom, to bongo-spiced garage stomp, to stoned and zoned out acoustic western smoke, "Hazy Visions of Bliss" takes a number of unexpected turns but holds a deep underlying psychedelic mantra as it's compass - perpetually guiding it forward

Oh how I long for this album in vinyl format! Such smoothness. Such warmth. Such execution. This music begs to be taken along and woven into memories.
